A Yellow Warning for powerful storms, rain and hail, from 10pm tonight (Tuesday) until tomorrow afternoon has been issued by the Meteorological Service in Cyprus.
According to bulletin, heavy storms are expected to initially affect the western part of the island – including Paphos and Limassol – and progressively the rest of Cyprus.
Heavy showers are expected, with the intensity of the rain set to vary between thirty-five and fifty-five millimeters per hour.
The storms come after a period of dust cover which has blanketed much of Cyprus since Sunday.
