The problem of the increased flows of irregular immigrants, from Lebanon to Cyprus, will be raised today by the President of the Republic Christodoulidis to the President of the European Commission.
President Christsoulidis will meet with Ursula von der Leyen in Athens on the sidelines of the New Democracy conference.
The immigration issue will also be raised during the visit of Christodoulidis to Lebanon tomorrow, where he will hold meetings with the country’s leadership.
The president will be accompanied by the interior and foreign ministers and the head of the National Guard.
