A light magnitude 2.3 earthquake was recorded near Limassol on Tuesday morning, according to the Kandilli Oservatory and Earthquake Research Institute in Istanbul.
The quake happened at 6.29 am local time and had a very shallow depth of 26 km (16 mi) and was not felt (or at least not reported so).
